Add rival domains and compare the same metrics side by side with yours.

Adding domains is free within your limit; credits spend only when you run a comparison or ask for suggestions.

## Step by step

### Step 1. Add a competitor domain

How to use it: Type the rival domain under Add competitor, set Markets (such as us,gb) and press Add competitor. Adding is free, up to the per-site competitor limit.

How to use it: Press Suggest competitors to see up to 20 domains we think compete with you. The price is shown before anything is charged, and adding one is free.

### Step 3. Run the comparison

How to use it: Once you have a competitor, the page shows what the comparison will cost with a breakdown, and Run comparison appears top right. Press it to fetch the same metrics for you and them.

### Step 4. Read the gaps

How to use it: Gaps has three tabs — Link gap, Keyword gap and Content gap. Keywords they rank for that you do not are seeds for research; save the best into rank tracking. Export as tasks turns the gaps into a to-do list.
