# GEO readiness checker

> Free GEO readiness checker. Inspect the source signals an AI retriever can read on your page. No visibility score: real AI citations are not measured here.

Canonical: https://crawlwise.site/tools/visibility

The GEO readiness checker inspects the on-page signals an AI retriever can read, such as answer passages, headings, and snippet controls. It does not measure whether any engine cites you.

This does not query ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity. It inspects source HTML signals; it cannot establish whether those systems can access or cite the page.

This checks one page. Answer engines read the whole site, and what they can reach changes when your CDN or robots.txt does. Plans start at $14.99 a month.

## How to use the generative search readiness review

1. ### Paste a page or topic

Use the live page you want answer engines to read.
2. ### We read it like they do

We look at what an answer engine can actually quote from it.
3. ### See what to change

Each finding points at the part of the page it is about.
4. ### Check again

Run it after your change to see the difference.

### What this does not measure

We would rather say what a tool cannot see than let a clean result mislead you.

- This is the source HTML, not what a model was told. Being cited by an AI answer is a different question and this tool does not answer it.
- No published research establishes that any signal here causes a citation, so the tool reports what is present and deliberately reports no score.
- It reads one page in one fetch. A retrieval crawler may fetch a different URL, or the same one on a different day.

Want the full picture?

This tool answers one question. A full audit runs every check on a page, scores it, and gives you a short list of what to fix first.

## Questions about the generative search readiness review

More in the [guides](https://crawlwise.site/guides).

### What does the Generative search readiness review do?

Inspect the source signals a retriever can see. No score: actual citations are not measured here.

### Do I need a Crawlwise account to use Generative search readiness review?

No. Every tool in the free toolkit runs without sign-up, card, or email. A full site audit and saved history require an account and credits.

### What can Generative search readiness review not tell me?

This is the source HTML, not what a model was told. Being cited by an AI answer is a different question and this tool does not answer it.

### How is this different from a paid SEO suite?

Crawlwise shows the evidence behind each result and prices work in credits. Suites bundle backlinks and ads research; we focus on measurable on-page health and crawler access.

### Can I run the same check on my whole site?

The free tool answers one URL or one question. Add a site in Crawlwise to crawl many pages, export reports, and track changes over time on paid plans.

### Will fixing what the tool flags improve rankings?

Nothing outside Google can promise rankings. Fixing real technical issues removes friction for crawlers and readers; it is necessary but not sufficient for visibility.
