Start here after you pick a site. If the notice at the top says to verify the site, complete the site verification guide first — then come back to the sidebar and quick actions.
Step by step
Step 1. Pick a tool from the sidebar
How to use it: Use the sidebar — Dashboard, New audit, Full site scan, Keywords (research and rankings), Competitors (with Domain overview), Backlinks, AI visibility, Page change alerts, Google data and Local SEO. Every tool works on the site you picked.
Step 2. Check verification and dates
How to use it: Until the site is verified, a notice at the top says so: rankings, page change alerts, Google data, Local SEO and AI visibility stay locked until you prove ownership with Verify site. Audits and scans still work. See /docs/tools/site-verification for the full walkthrough.
Step 3. Launch work from the top right
How to use it: Run audit starts a new audit of this site. The More menu has Scan the whole site, Re-check AI visibility and Set up change alerts.
