What this does not measure

  • It scans the source HTML for absolute http:// references. A resource injected by JavaScript at runtime is not in the source and is not found.
  • It cannot rank the findings by how much they matter. A blocked font and a blocked stylesheet both break the page, differently.
  • A protocol-relative URL or a relative one is not mixed content and is reported as neither.

Scans the source HTML of an HTTPS page for resources loaded over plain HTTP. A resource a script injects at runtime is not in the source and will not be found.
