Step by step
Step 1. Verify the site first
How to use it: Local SEO is refused until the site is verified. Finish ownership verification on the site overview, then reload this tab.
Step 2. Choose a business
How to use it: Use the Business menu at the top to switch between the businesses attached to this site. Under Businesses you can find another one by name and city (priced per lookup) and attach it.
Step 3. Open the section you need
How to use it: Use the tabs — Businesses, Profile, Reviews, Map rankings, Listings and Reports. Each section has its own checks.
Step 4. Fix NAP mismatches
How to use it: On Listings, Citation consistency (NAP) compares the business name, address and phone across the major directories, with the Google profile as the source of truth. Run the citation check (0.45 credits), then align the site or the profile wherever they disagree.
