What it is

A hosted suite covering rank tracking, keyword and competitor research, backlinks, a website audit and AI search tracking, sold in tiers from Core at $129 a month ($103.20 billed yearly).

Where SE Ranking is better

This section is the reason to read the page. A comparison that only lists our wins is marketing, and you would know it was.

  • The audit allowance is enormous: Core includes 250,000 crawled pages a month and Growth 2 million. Our largest plan caps a crawl at 10,000 pages.
  • Daily rank tracking for 2,000 keywords on Core, with years of product work behind the reporting, is deeper than our rank tracker.
  • Its AI search tracking covers AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity and ChatGPT as an add-on. We record whether a result has an AI Overview but not whether you are cited in it.
  • It is built for teams and agencies, with white-label reporting and client access at a scale we do not match.

Where we differ

  • The price of entry. Starter is $4.99 a month and the free tools need no account, against $129 a month for Core.
  • We fetch each page as the AI crawlers themselves and report whether each one got through, which is a different question from whether an answer engine mentions you.
  • Every bought data call is quoted in credits before it runs, so a small site does not pay for a platform sized for an agency.

What cannot be compared

  • A full SEO platform priced for agencies against a focused audit priced per credit. If you manage dozens of sites and thousands of keywords, theirs is the better-sized tool.

Judge it yourself without paying either of us

Run the free ai crawler checker on your own site — no account, no credit, no email. Then audit one page, which the trial credit covers, and read the limits page to see what it will not tell you before you spend anything.
