What this does not measure

  • These are renderings of the tags we fetched, not screenshots of the platforms. Every one of them caches, and most of them fall back to something else when a tag is missing.
  • The Google panel uses one assumed pixel width. Google rewrites titles and picks its own description more often than not.
  • A missing Open Graph image does not always produce a blank card — the platform may pull a product image from elsewhere — so the preview shows exactly what the tags say and leaves the guessing to you.
  • WhatsApp and Slack do not publish their crawler user-agents, so we cannot tell you what they will fetch. We can only tell you what your tags declare.
